Biography
Welcome to Pepper Nut Homestay, a serene retreat nestled beside the Thattekad forest area. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, you’re in for a treat as you listen to the melodious songs of birds. Say goodbye to the hot and humid climate and embrace the Cherrapunji of Kerala, where we are blessed with year-round rainfall, with heavy downpours occurring from June to August.
Our homestay is situated on a 15-acre agricultural paradise, serving as a sanctuary for various crops like black pepper, areca nut, nutmeg, and tamarind. We have also cultivated a variety of local fruits and vegetables to delight your palate. To enhance your memorable experience, we have created a one-kilometre walking trail that encircles the entire property.
We are passionate about creating an unparalleled bird-watching experience for our guests. With expert guides and prime locations, you can look forward to spotting rare birds that you won’t find anywhere else, making your stay with us a true avian adventure. Our natural pond teems with various fish species you can feed, and you may even have the opportunity to spot rare butterflies during your stay. As for our cuisine, we take pride in using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You won’t find any sugary welcome drinks here; authenticity is our trademark.
Additionally, we provide lessons on our crop cultivation methods, allowing you to gain hands-on experience. Pepper Nut Homestay eagerly awaits your visit. Come and experience it for yourself!
