Plant characteristics
Hoya heuschkeliana 'Yellow' is a member of the Hoya (Sakuraran) family, native to the Philippines, which produces small, urn-shaped flowers.

The flowers, about 5mm in diameter, open only at the tip of the bud, forming an urn-like shape.
5 to 10 yellow to cream-colored flowers bloom from one flower base.

In Okinawa, they bloom almost year-round, but are particularly prolific from late March through the summer.

Basic Hoya care (management in Okinawa)
Grow in a semi-shaded environment.
Can also be grown indoors in a bright location with windows.
Water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom of the pot when the surface of the potting soil dries out.
Apply fertilizer once a month with top dressing.
