This is the omote (surface) used for tatami mats.
Made from the natural material igusa (rush grass).
How about using it to create flower stands or decorative bases?

The quality of the material varies depending on the type of warp and weft threads used. Furthermore, as it is a natural material, the material, quality, color, and even thickness can differ depending on the production area, producer, and production year.
Also, these are scraps from tatami production, so the sizes vary.
(Sizes can be accommodated upon request)
Due to the structure, the edges of the fabric will fray both horizontally and vertically, so please purchase a size larger than you need.
The color may change slightly over time from when the photos were taken.

Although unused, these items have been stored in a warehouse. As it is a natural material, there are also weaving imperfections.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.

They are usually stored folded, so there will be creases.
The creases should become less noticeable if you lightly spray with water and allow them to dry.

Shipping discounts are available only for bulk purchases of multiple items.

The fringe has been cut. If you wish to keep the fringe, there will be a slight additional charge as it will increase the shipping size and cost.

If you require a specific number of pieces, shorter widths, or longer lengths, please leave a comment with your request.
